Associates of LCR&A were retained by the Louisiana Department of Transportation to design a full-scale, instrumented-pile, loading test. The design parameters were derived based on the field measurement of 36-inch diameter test shafts and recommendations were submitted to Louisiana DOT for designing the production drilled shafts.
